These became his principal focus when he moved permanently to Morocco in 1972. Drawn in that year, this enigmatic still life features a crumpled package surrounded by indigenous wooden domestic objects, including spindles and bread molds. Bravo’s heightened realist style derived inspiration from various sources, including seventeenth-century Spanish artists like Diego Velázquez and Francisco de Zurbarán.
