The drawing outlines an arrangement of eleven \"bins\" containing a \"pulverized\" material and eleven mirrors. Their incrementally stepped composition—common to Smithson’s sculptures from the mid-1960s—evokes his interest in seriality and his frequent experimentation with perspective.
